PHOTO INFORMATION:
Does anyone have photos from Easter at church they would like to share? Contact Ryan Chaney or Gail Sargent or the computer savvy can upload pictures themselves to the church website. See below.
Church Website – Don’t forget to check the church website from time to time for photos. www.pleasantplainchurch.org . You can submit photos to Ryan Chaney, rchaney@yahoo.com.
OR
you can also upload them yourself by going to http://pleasantplain.shutterfly.com (or follow the link off our website) and it will allow anyone to upload pictures. It does require people to sign up for a free account to upload, or they can use the username of: postmaster@pleasantplainchurch.org with the password of pppc. Loading the pictures yourself would be much easier for most folks, unless they get the CD directly from where they get prints made and potentially don't own or use a computer (then myself or others could upload). I still have the ability to edit or delete pictures uploaded by others if necessary. Ryan Chaney
Facebook Link -- Jennifer Waters has a link to a facebook page for the church where photos can also be posted:

MISSION ACTIVITIES & NEEDS:
Thanks to all who offered to assist the family who was in desperate need for two beds.
The father is a single parent of a 12 yr old boy. The dad is permanently disabled due to an amputation and is also on dialysis. They had to throw away all of their beds and bedding because of a bedbug problem. They have since had their apartment cleaned of the bugs but do not have the income available to buy new beds.
Thanks to the generosity of our congregation, we have enough mattresses, box springs, frames and a sofa. However, the family also needs bedding (sheets, blankets, pillow etc) for two twin beds. Donations will be gratefully accepted. In addition, we will need someone with a truck and a few folks with strong backs to pick up and deliver the items. Please contact Pastor Kevin kawaters@cinci.rr.com or Gary Copen (877-3394) if you have items to donate or can help deliver items to the family.
John Skeel, the missionary we support who travels to Uganda, and is involved in construction of churches, schools and orphanages there, has just returned from that country and wishes to extend his gratitude to us for our prayers for the mission work and John’s safety.
Thank you for your generosity ($1,560) to the One Great Hour of Sharing collection on Palm Sunday. A portion of this collection is used for Presbyterian Disaster Relief and will be sent to help tornado victims in the South and Midwest.
Food Pantry needs: jiffy mixes, cake mixes, saltine crackers, dried beans, instant mashed potatoes, jelly and jams, toothbrushes and toothpaste. There is also an urgent need for paper grocery bags.
